Live Update

Phase 01 of 09Planning

We're deep in blueprints and material selections right now. It's a lot of decisions — and we're making every one of them count.

Last updated July 3, 2026

Planning

In Progress

Started July 2026

Architectural drawings in final review
Primary suite layout being refined
Material selections 80% complete
Builder kickoff meeting scheduled

Where it all begins.

We're sitting at the table right now, and honestly it's a mix of excitement and information overload. There are floor plan revisions spread across the counter, material samples stacked in the corner, and about a hundred browser tabs open. This is the phase where every decision feels huge — because it is. The choices we make here will show up in every room of this home for decades. We're not rushing a single one.

Latest update

Currently finalizing the architectural drawings and locking in our material selections. The floor plan is almost exactly where we want it — just a few tweaks to the primary suite layout.

Permits

Coming Soon

Coming Soon

Building permit application
Site plan approval
Utility connections approval
Final sign-off before breaking ground

Getting everything approved the right way.

Once the plans are locked, we'll submit everything to the county for permitting. It's not the most exciting phase to talk about, but it's one of the most important. We're doing this by the book — every permit, every inspection, every sign-off. When this home is done, there won't be a single question mark hanging over it.

Foundation

Coming Soon

Coming Soon

Site clearing and grading
Excavation
Footings poured
Slab completed

The day we break ground.

We've been looking forward to this one. The day the excavator shows up and the first dirt gets moved — that's when it stops being a dream on paper and starts being a real thing in the ground. We'll be out there with a camera, and you'll see every bit of it.

Framing

Coming Soon

Coming Soon

Floor system installed
Exterior walls framed
Interior walls framed
Roof trusses set

Walls go up — and it gets real.

Framing is the phase that makes people cry. We're not even joking. You walk onto the lot and suddenly there are walls, there are rooms, there's a staircase going up to a second floor that didn't exist yesterday. We cannot wait to share this one with you.

Roofing

Coming Soon

Coming Soon

Roof sheathing installed
Underlayment applied
Roofing material installed
Gutters and flashing completed

The home gets its roof.

Once the roof goes on, the whole feel of the build changes. It's no longer a skeleton — it's a structure. The home is protected, interior work can begin in earnest, and you start to see the silhouette of what this place is going to look like from the street.

Mechanical & Electrical

Coming Soon

Coming Soon

HVAC rough-in
Plumbing rough-in
Electrical rough-in
Rough inspections passed

The stuff behind the walls that makes it all work.

Most homebuyers never see this phase — they just inherit whatever's in the walls. We think that's a shame, because this is where you can really tell the difference between a home built right and one that wasn't. We'll walk you through all of it. No shortcuts, and we'll prove it.

Hardwood flooring installed
Custom cabinetry installed
Countertops, tile, and fixtures set

This is the part we've been dreaming about.

Hardwood floors going down. Marble counters being set. Custom cabinets getting hung. Every finish we agonized over in the planning phase starts showing up in real life. We'll share every reveal as it happens.

Landscaping

Coming Soon

Coming Soon

Driveway and walkways poured
Grading and drainage finalized
Sod and plantings installed
Outdoor living spaces completed

The outside gets its moment.

A beautiful home deserves a beautiful approach. We're putting real thought into the landscaping — not just throwing down sod and calling it done. The driveway, the plantings, the outdoor spaces — all of it designed to feel like it belongs.
